GESIS is looking for a Research Infrastructure Specialist (Postdoc) for Trusted Research Environments (TRE) to join the RIDLOP team. The position is based in the department Data Services for the Social Sciences in Cologne (TV-L 13, full time, initially for four years, tenure track). The role translates governance, research, and data access requirements into technical specifications, coordinates between researchers, IT specialists, legal experts, and external providers, and designs secure TRE workflows from data ingest to output review. Within RIDLOP, the position contributes to developing the next generation of the GESIS Secure Data Center toward a scalable, compliant, and remotely accessible research environment for sensitive platform data.
