An expert panel appointed by the German Science and Humanities Council (Wissenschaftsrat) visited GESIS over the past two days. The site visit is part of the individual evaluation of the projects on the shortlist of the prioritization process for large research infrastructures, conducted on behalf of the BMFTR. The RIDLOP team presented the concept, governance, and technical planning of the infrastructure and answered the panel’s questions. The panel’s assessment will feed into the evaluation report of the Science and Humanities Council that will inform the funding decision of the BMFTR.
